Attack of the Useless Decoration

(aka Pocketa-Pocketa)

(1988?)

Additional Information

Thomas designed this costume for a Costume Con Future Fashion Folio. In these Folios, members submit designs, which are then constructed and worn by other members.

This started as a lark -- a basic jumpsuit covered with a myriad of pockets, zippers, stripes, etc. The whole thing was a black-and-white line drawing.

Costume Goddess Marji Ellers took up the challenge, and made the version that she models below. It was her inspiration to do the jumpsuit in white and all the decorations in various rainbow hues.
