June Swords spent her formative years as a Nature Elemental; she is the real reason that New Jersey is known as the Garden State. June has the power to make plants grow and yield fruit simply by waving her hand in their direction. When she frowns, whole forests wither. In addition, June is witty, intelligent, irreverant, and multi-talented. She cooks like a gourmet chef, does needlework that puts the entire Middle Ages to shame, and makes magnificent costumes with no discernable effort. (June is pictured here in something she threw together in an afternoon for the premeire of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.) June used to work at Terhune Orchards in Princeton, New Jersey. She met Renfield at a science fiction convention, and -- despite her 20/20 vision -- took a shine to him. Soon, they were all but inseparable. In 1999 June packed up her home, Entropy's Edge, and moved to Meerkat Meade. She and Renfield are engaged, with the wedding scheduled for May 2001. Subsequently, they are expected to re-establish Entropy's Edge as a separte entity. |
